In my neck of the woods, to criticize Rush Limbaugh borders on blasphemy. So be it. He is, after all, a darling of the conservatives.
He also can be an embarrassment to some of us conservatives.
In one of his broadcasts, Rush called a Georgetown University female law student a “slut” and a “prostitute.”
Why?
Because she stated publicly that a proposed national health care plan should include contraceptives.
Some liberal commentators, even while being critical of Limbaugh’s remarks, defended his right to free speech.
Malarkey!
Free speech doesn’t include making outrageous, slanderous statements against innocent people. Wampus doesn’t know whether the young lady plans to sue Rush Limbaugh. No doubt he has libel insurance and millions stashed away.
What he really needs is a public butt-kicking.
