An Awesome Compilation of Information

What must be the most comprehensive compilation of information about North Carolina - its counties, towns and its people - has just been published.

The 710-page document provides demographic data, socio-economic characteristics, school systems, government officials - by name, and other information about every city, town and county in the state.

The data includes populations by race, gender, origin, income and educational attainment, along with tax rates and fiscal profiles.  Names, political affiliation and terms of members of the legislature and U.S. Congress also are listed.

North Carolina Cities, Towns and Counties is produced by Information Publications of Woodside, CA. Similar publications have been produced for California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

To assure currency, the publications are updated each year, according to Eric Weiner, founder of Information Publications.  He can be reached through www.informationpublications.com.  Also, toll free, at (877) 544-4636.

The publications should be valuable additions to public libraries and to those of schools, community colleges and universities and to public agencies and businesses needing a quick and comprehensive source of reference material.
